Collin and Kate are moving back to Kearney!
Actually, Kate is already there and has been there for two weeks.
Collin is still in Loveland with the kids working on packing, selling, purging and renting.
It's very bitter-sweet for everyone (more sweet for mom and dad). We are very excited for them as they begin this new adventure, but we are also very sad to see them leave lovely Colorado. Kate interviewed and got a job at the Buckle Warehouse, which is located in Kearney. She got a fabulous job that was too good to pass up, so she accepted, quit her job at Comcast and moved within two weeks. It was all very fast.
She is living with my parents until Collin and the kids get there. She is also in the process of looking for a place to live (they can't live with my parents forever, right?). Collin will officially move Aug. 15.
Kate is loving her new job, and as Collin finishes up his teaching degree, he'll hopefully have a much easier time finding a teaching job in Kearney than in Colorado. Kate already has some friends in Kearney, and Collin has some old high school friends who still live in the area, so I am confident they are going to fit right in.
Pray for them as they begin this new journey.

We are happy and excited for them - BUT we are - as Kari put it- the CO side of the family and will miss them lots.
